Upper and Lower Venous Ultrasound
A venous ultrasound is conducted to evaluate the veins in the upper and lower extremities for conditions such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or venous insufficiency. This test identifies blood clots, improper blood flow, or vein damage, which could lead to swelling, pain, or other complications.
